Salary
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
1) Act as the primary contact for the Business Development Team as a subject expert in contract management
2) Ensure client timelines, efficiency, accuracy and cost containment of client deliverables
3) Track and review business statistics
4) Oversee operating accountability for activities associated within Contracts Management Department
5) Determine resource allocation to manage the flow of incoming proposals, change requests and queries
6) Provide leadership to the Global Contracts Department to create a global strategy for contract management
7) Ensure effective delivery of internal and external client requests
8) Participate in global and local policy development
9) Manage relationships with internal/external parties, associated business development teams and clients when appropriate
10) Ensure communication between North American and European contracts team is fluid and productive by monitoring activities and participating in regular global contracts meetings
11) Maintain the link between Finance, Operations, and Business Development to ensure appropriate costs are linked to performed services
12) Participate in business development activities, including attending and participating in meetings with clients
13) Encompass mentorship, coaching, and performance management
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Business Program or a related field
2) MBA graduate preferred
3) 5+ years of experience
4) Legal/corporate background preferred
5) International experience preferred
6) 8 – 10 years of work experience, preferably within the clinical research/pharmaceutical field in a sales/contract environment
7) In-depth experience in contract management and process-improvement initiatives
8) Experience in managing and executing deliverables within a highly time-sensitive environment
9) Ability to present ideas and solutions
