About our client
Our client is a $2 billion international BPO company that serves multiple industries in the life sciences sector. The company, with over 45,000 employees, provides various services, including that CRO and data management services.

Geography Operations Manager Wilmington, Delaware
Salary Reports to

Responsibilities
1) Oversee resource deployment, leadership, supervision and management
2) Clarify, manage and successfully implement customer expectations, resolving conflicts whilst pursuing win-win scenarios
3) Manage resource while ensuring delivery of full scope of data management work across the program, on time and within budget
4) Supervise data management resources across function and coordination of workload and responsibility
5) Define and prioritize resource requirements and manage resource assignments across projects
6) Monitor and manage utilization and productivity of regional DMC
7) Assess and document competency of staff to satisfy position responsibilities
8) Set goals and evaluate and document performance
9) Manage promotion and termination actions to ensure equity across DMC functions
10) Define recruiting strategies and staffing needs based on hard backlog
11) Monitor quality and efficiency across functions to identify trends and opportunities for improvements
12) Ensure sharing of learning across geographies
13) Participate in defining strategies for new processes and technology at either regional or global level
14) Ensure that staff is trained and compliant with current operating procedures and work instructions and project scope of work
15) Manage relationship with customer at both the operations level and with functional peers
16) Provide operational input into proposals and scope of work
17) Lead discussions of project requirements and planning
18) Provide input to costing algorithms
19) Assess actively and help manage project realization
20) Ensure project milestones are met according to agreed upon timelines with high quality
21) Work with offshore operations managers closely
22) Handle all activities related to monthly & quarterly senior management
23) Work independently with minimum oversight
Requirements
1) Degree in clinical, biological or mathematical sciences or related field, or nursing qualification
2) 10+ years of relevant work experience in the clinical data management field
3) Advanced knowledge of the clinical data management processes and systems
4) Technical programming skills
5) Good understanding of clinical drug development process
6) Proven leadership skills
7) Substantial people management experience
8) Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to delegate appropriately
9) Experience in effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously
10) Outstanding problem solving skills
11) Excellent interpersonal skills
12) Outstanding written and oral communication skills
