| Responsibilities |
1) Provide input into the general scientific, clinical and medical strategy and plan for the projects 2) Track research and development in relevant therapeutic fields with respect to competitive products and programs, trial designs, clinical practices, and regulatory developments 3) Research and evaluate alternative indications for existing programs/products 4) Provide support for due diligence activities for partnering of company’s programs and for evaluation of in-licensing and acquisition possibilities 5) Provide scientific support for marketing/commercialization strategy and plans 6) Participate in clinical trial management, including establishing and recommending scientific methods for the design of clinical protocols and evaluation of contract research organizations 7) Participate in the creation and evaluation of statistical analysis plans, case report forms, data collection methods, and monitoring plans to ensure scientific integrity of trials 8) Create and review scientific, technical and regulatory documents including clinical trial protocols, investigator brochures, annual reports, product development plans and common technical documents 9) Coordinate various inside/outside groups to facilitate clinical research 10) Ensure implementation of policies, procedures and quality standards |
| Requirements |
1) Ph.D. in scientific discipline / M.D. 2) Knowledge of ICH and GCP guidelines 3) Minimum 8 years of relevant clinical research experience, preferably in the cardiovascular area 4) Good understanding of the clinical research process from design to reporting 5) Strong attention to detail 6) A proven track record of problem solving 7) Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities 8) Excellent oral and written communication skills |
