Regulatory Affairs Analyst Michigan
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Support the skin care and color cosmetics business
2) Work on cross-functional international teams to launch and maintain compliant skin care and color cosmetics products in the US and international markets
3) Work on outputs, including ingredient and formula review, label and claims development, as well as product registration and document review on a regular basis
4) Evaluate new and existing products against these regulations and develop and implement appropriate strategies to ensure compliance
5) Develop and revise procedures and processes for review and implementation independently
6) Maintain knowledge of current/pending/future regulations for ingredients, products, packaging, labeling, claims and related areas for product lines and markets as assigned
Requirements
1) Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent relevant experience
2) 5-7 years of regulatory experience
3) Cosmetics background and exposure to international teams (preferred)
4) Strong understanding and wide application of regulatory principles and concepts
5) Ability to interpret regulations and provide solutions
6) Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills
7) Ability to analyze and interpret information to make sound decisions and lead change
8) Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
9) Excellent analytical skills to resolve complex regulatory issues
